TYhis Club field trip will be to the Cheviots – A previously unexplored site with the potential for some Excellent Agates.
Members who wish to go on this trip should put their names down for it on the club notice board.
Communications about this trip – Metting places, times and any changes will only be communicated to those who have put their names down.
A previous recce to the area revealed tantalising glimpses of widespread agate with a few lucky finds, including one really good eye agate. Not bad considering there was no access to the farmers fields at the time with the main focus was along the riverbanks.
